Cheryl Walter

Cheryl Walter is a retired music teacher and currently the owner of Norwin Express Tours, LLC. She graduated from Carlow University with a degree in Music Education. She received an Alumni Leadership Award and the Carlow Distinguished Service Award. Cheryl began her career as an elementary music teacher in the Wilkinsburg School District. In 1986 she began teaching at Norwin School District and retired in 2011. After 20 years of arranging trips for her students and friends, she began a 2nd career as a travel agent and is the owner of Norwin Express Tours. Cheryl founded the Expressions in Harmony Foundation to continue the community work that she began during her teaching career. Her hope is to keep all of her former students involved in community service and to encourage other students to find fulfillment in community service.

Erica Laughlin

Erica Laughlin, an attorney with the law firm Strassburger McKenna Gutnick and Gefsky, graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2001 from Duquesne University earning a B.A. in journalism and psychology, and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2004.  She concentrates her legal practice in the areas of civil and commercial litigation and municipal law, and is an active member of both the Allegheny and Westmoreland County Bar Associations, presently serving on the Young Lawyers Division Council of the Allegheny County Bar Association.  Ms. Laughlin is also a member of the Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce, and lectors at her home parish of St. Richards in Gibsonia, PA where she resides with her husband Nick.  Ms. Laughlin has a passion for travel, the arts, and is an avid runner having completed over 15 half-marathons and 2 triathlons.  Ms. Laughlin looks forward to combining her love of music and dedication to service through her work with Expressions in Harmony.

Linda Madden-Brenhholts, Secretary

Currently the Customer Satisfaction Representative at USA Insulation of Pittsburgh, Linda is a retired Carlow University fundraiser and alumnae director. ­­­She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carlow University and a Master of Arts degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Linda has two sons, David and Michael Madden; and three grandsons, Rigel, William and Samuel Madden.
